2. How many guests can Sunhaven accommodate?

Our beach house comfortably sleeps up to six guests across three generous bedrooms (four beds). With an open plan layout and private pool, it’s ideal for families, couples or groups looking to relax in a spacious tropical setting.

5. How do I get to Sunhaven?

We’re a 25-minute drive from Cairns Airport, easily accessible by taxi, hire car or airport transfer. Detailed directions and arrival information are sent prior to your stay.

Our private plunge pool is designed for tropical comfort all year round. While it’s not heated, Palm Cove generally enjoys a warm climate year-round, making the pool perfect for cooling off in the summer or a refreshing dip during the mild dry season if you don’t mind it cooler.

16. Do you provide beach towels or pool toys?

Yes. Sunhaven is stocked with pool toys and beach towels so you can pack light and dive straight into holiday mode. You’ll also find board games, books, and a few surprises for the kids.

17. Is there parking at the property?

Yes. There is a private garage and additional free street parking available. You’ll find it easy to park and unpack right by the front door.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Sunhaven to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the property for all guests. Palm Cove’s beach and walking tracks, however, are dog-friendly zones if you’re staying nearby with your pet.

Palm Cove is a year-round destination. The dry season (May–October) offers warm days and cool nights, perfect for exploring the reef and rainforest. The wet season (November–April) brings lush greenery, tropical rains and fewer crowds — great for relaxed getaways and special deals.
